The Municipal Government of Bekasi, in collaboration with the Search Network, held a Discussion Room for the Study of We Hear from Residents in the Jatisampurna District Hall on Wednesday (15/2) morning.
Present at this activity was Deputy Chairperson I of the Bekasi City DPRD Anim Imanuddin, Government Assistant Lintong Dianto Putra, Head of the Population and Civil Registry Service Taufiq R Hidayat, Head of Public Relations Section of Bekasi City Regional Secretariat Amsiyah, Plt. Head of Jatisampurna Subdistrict Nata Wijaya and Village Heads of Jatisampurna Subdistrict.
In his remarks, the chief executive, Michael Lengkong, said that the Search Network consists of several media collaborating with the local government to be able to capture direct aspirations from members of the public in order to improve public services.
This activity is the first activity and later activities like this will be held in 12 other sub-districts with several activities in the form of Discussion Rooms, Cultural Arts Attractions, Social Services and the UMKM Bazaar, he said
Today’s activities were divided into 2 sessions, the first session we raised the theme of Integrated Public Services in the District and the second session later we will hold an interactive dialogue with the theme of MSMEs, Licensing and Capital, he added.
Government Assistant Lintong Dianto Putra who represented Plt. The Mayor of Bekasi in his remarks expressed his appreciation for this Search Network Collaboration activity, because to make public services successful it is not only the government’s responsibility but collaboration between elements of society both the press, mass organizations and the community in the area of course.
The Bekasi City Government’s efforts to accelerate the improvement of the quality of public services in the sub-districts are by always motivating sub-district heads and sub-district officials to have good performance and synergize with regional apparatus or related stakeholders in improving public services to the community, he added.
The Municipal Government of Bekasi will also continue to encourage creativity and innovation as well as good performance synergy in the sub-district so that they can jointly commit to pushing the sub-district as the closest service center to the community, as a center for community empowerment and a center for economic and socio-cultural growth.
In addition, what the Bekasi City Government has done in improving services is by holding additional night service hours and ball pick-up services for residents with special needs, he concluded.
At the end of his remarks, the Government Assistant expressed his hope that this discussion room could provide constructive suggestions and input so that the Bekasi City Government could improve the quality of public service delivery and be required to always be able and quickly adapt to all changes in order to meet the expectations and needs of the community.
On a different occasion, the Jatisampurna District Head, Nata Wijaya, said that the Jatisampurna District has a Jasam Diver service program, namely the Jatisampurna Monday Night Service which is open from 16.00 to 20.00 WIB.
I hope that the innovations that we have made can be of benefit to the residents and with this activity we will receive suggestions and input from the community members so that we can maximize services for the community members.
